For this performance, musicians Mike Perlmutter (clarinet), Zina Pozen (accordion), Sharon Mitchell (viola) and Aaron Goldstein (percussion and vocals) will present a variety of klezmer instrumental music and Yiddish song, along with explanations about the music, its origins and functions. Sasha Waniewski will lead circle dances corresponding to some of the rhythms performed.
