The band started playing at one of our tisches, and weaved in music amidst the program in highly intuitive and playful ways in our loving and raucous program. They effortlessly accompanied through many aspects of our wedding ritual, and supported a spirited and lively hora. Extremely talented musicians, thoughtful and caring community members, and holy celebration makers. I can't wait for another reason to collaborate with them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to add musical magic and joy to their celebration.

My favorite part of my wedding reception was having Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band play. I actually never planned on having live music, and now I truly can't imagine our day without it. It absolutely elevated my experience, and for our guests too. If you're on the fence about it, I'd love to convince you to just go for it. 100% worth it. So much joy and laughter and beauty. They also played during our tish and ceremony, which was beyond special. Look no further!

For some reason it seemed to me to be quite reasonable to plan a klezmer dance party for my 40th birthday. I'm actually not sure why it's not one of those traditions like New Years or 4th of July. I wish I turned 40 every year. What joy to have this music echoing from the walls of our home, what bliss to grasp hands with so many of my dearest friends and celebrate reaching a milestone. We need more excuses to swing skirts with abandon, close our eyes and listen to the plaintive voice of the clarinet, pound bare feet in the carpet along with the drums... I think I still hear the songs when I walk in my hallway even now.

We hired The Saul Goodman Band for our son's bar mitzvah, and they were extraordinary! Our son wanted something different from the usual bar mitzvah DJ scene, and we were thrilled. First of all, everyone danced. Everyone. Second, it was so moving to have a band playing music reminiscent of our ancestors. Everything about this band was fantastic. They were easy to work with, flexible, and extremely talented. I would hire them again in a second.

My wife and I decided to surprise our big Jewish family with Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band at our wedding. They help coordinate our entrance and processional up to our ceremony.
